Whilst in Paraty, we’d met a nice guy from S.P who had very kindly wrote out a little itinerary on the back of a napkin for us. One of his suggestions was Terraco Italia, a gorgeous Italian restaurant located on the 41st floor of one of S.P’s many skyscrapers. Quick shower and change, we grabbed a cab and headed out.
The restaurant was muito lindo (very beautiful), and we were greeted by a pianist confidently playing some famous hits. The views of the city at night were spectacular; nothing really prepares you for how vast São Paulo truly is.

The food was gorgeous and we opted for lamb with potatoes and veg, a chicken and asparagus risotto, a bottle of red and a couple of drinks afterwards in the bar. The bill come in at around £120, a little expensive but to be expected in such an exquisite restaurant.

A lovely end to a long day of travelling.
